Where the smoked globe hides its bulb, the Forked Globe Opal Pendant does the opposite. Its handblown opal glass glows an even, milky white right through, hung on an adjustable cable from a cast and machined metal fitting.

Choose Your Finish

Brass, Gun Metal and Steel are the finish options, each carrying the same diamond cut linear knurling and cast fork detailing at the top of the fitting. Because the opal glass is opaque rather than tinted, the metal finish reads more clearly here than it does against smoked glass.

How It Works

A Forked specific dimmable Buster Bulb sits inside the opal globe, diffused evenly by the glass rather than showing as a visible filament. It needs an LED compatible dimmer switch to dim, takes an E27 base up to 7W, and is wired for 220 to 240V at IP20. The cable adjusts up to 3000mm and can be shortened by a trained electrician.

Where It Works Best

This Large pendant carries a 290mm globe, enough presence for a dining table or a single statement drop over an island. The Medium size takes the same opal globe down to a scale that suits a side table or a tighter cluster of pendants. Unlike the Ceiling versions, this one needs headroom to hang properly rather than sitting flush.

Massimo Buster Minale founded Buster + Punch in 2013 after years spent as an architect, including work with Foster and Partners, while his evenings went into customising motorbikes in a garage in East London. The opal globe is a quieter piece than most of the range, but the same cast fork detailing and hand finishing still runs through it.
