The Forked Ceiling Opal Globe Shade in Large brings the metal dome and handblown opal globe up to their biggest size in this configuration, fixed flush to the ceiling. Cast fork detailing and diamond cut linear knurling run through the fitting, the same details that repeat right across the Forked range.

Available in Brass, Burnt Steel, Gun Metal or Steel. Brass gives the warmest tone against the opal glass, Steel the coolest and brightest, Gun Metal the strongest contrast, and Burnt Steel a shifting tone somewhere between the two.

How It Works

The shade is cast, machined and hand spun solid metal, refined by hand once shaped. The handblown opal glass globe underneath diffuses the light evenly rather than showing a hotspot. It ships with the dimmable Buster Bulb, an E27 LED rated up to 7W, wired for 220 to 240V AC and rated IP20 for dry indoor use.

This Large size suits a room with real scale, a living room, a bigger bedroom, or a hallway with higher ceilings, where the Medium version of this same shade and globe would look undersized. Because it's the ceiling mounted version, it fixes flush with no drop, unlike the Pendant version of the same shade and globe which hangs on an adjustable cable.
