The Forked Ceiling Opal Globe fixes a handblown opal sphere directly to the ceiling with no shade in between, so the whole surface of the globe lights up rather than just the underside. Diamond cut linear knurling and cast fork detailing run through the fitting, the recurring marks of the Forked range.

Choose from Brass, Gun Metal or Steel. Brass brings warmth against the pale glass, Gun Metal gives the strongest contrast, and Steel keeps everything cool and even.

How It Works

The fitting is cast and machined solid metal, refined by hand, holding a handblown opal glass globe that spreads light in every direction. It ships with the dimmable Buster Bulb, an E27 LED rated up to 7W, wired for 220 to 240V AC and rated IP20 for dry indoor use.

Where It Works Best

This is the Medium size, a good fit for a hallway, landing or smaller bedroom where you want a globe that reads as a feature without taking over the room. The Large steps up in scale for bigger spaces. Because it's the ceiling mounted version, it sits flush with no drop, unlike the Pendant version of this same globe which hangs on an adjustable cable.
