Most ceiling spotlights vanish into a white recess and try not to be noticed. The Exhaust does the opposite. Its body is powder coated metal finished in a stone tone, built around a solid metal cross knurl baffle that catches the light itself and throws back a small metallic glow of its own, on top of whatever the bulb is doing.

Stone gives the body a soft, chalky neutral that sits quietly against most ceiling colours, while the cross knurl baffle and coin screws come in Black, Brass, Smoked Bronze or Steel so you can pick how much contrast you want between body and detail.

How It Works

A honeycomb filter sits behind the baffle to keep the beam tight and low glare rather than letting light spill sideways. The head swivels up to 65 degrees so you can aim it exactly where you need it, and it takes a single GU10 bulb, up to 9W LED, rated IP20 and CB certified for indoor use, bulb not included.

Where It Works Best

This ceiling mounted version is fixed in one spot, so it's the right pick when you already know exactly where the light needs to point, above a console table, a piece of art, or a favourite chair. If you'd rather move or add spotlights along a run later without rewiring, the Exhaust Track version clips onto a track system instead, and the Exhaust Surface version is built for mounting where recessing into the ceiling isn't possible at all.

Every Exhaust light traces back to founder Massimo Buster Minale's years customising motorbikes in a Shoreditch garage before Buster + Punch existed as a company, work that was all about taking something built to a price and rebuilding it to a standard instead. He'd trained as an architect, worked on major buildings with firms like Foster and Partners, then decided home fittings deserved the same obsessive attention as a building or a motorbike engine. A spotlight, in his hands, stopped being just a hole in the ceiling.
