A door stop is easy to overlook, until it is not there and a handle punches through the plaster behind it. This one is solid metal with a bold cross knurl pattern cut into the top and a rubber ring underneath, fixed flat to the floor exactly where the door needs it stopped.

Cross Knurl gives a deep, faceted grid pattern that catches the light differently to our finer Linear Knurl range. Black keeps it discreet against dark flooring, Brass and Smoked Bronze warm up a room, and Steel reads clean and architectural against pale floors.

How It Works

This is a floor mounted door stop, 54mm in diameter with the rubber o-ring fitted and 25mm tall. It fixes permanently to the floor with the supplied woodscrew, right where an open door would otherwise strike a wall or piece of furniture.

Where It Works Best

Choose a floor stop over a wall or free standing version when you want something fixed in one exact spot, out of the way underfoot rather than at door handle height. It is built for interior doors only and is not suitable for damp or wet environments, so keep it out of bathrooms with heavy moisture.

Is this a wedge?
No, it is a permanent door stop rather than a wedge. It fixes to the floor with the supplied screw and stays there.

Will it damage my floor?
It requires a single screw fixing into the floor, so it is best suited to floors you are happy to drill into.
