Some doors don't need a working latch at all, just a knob that looks the part on both sides. This set is fixed on both faces, solid metal with our linear knurl detail, so it holds the same considered texture as our sprung sets without any moving parts underneath.

Steel and Gun Metal keep things cool and industrial with a subtle difference in depth of tone, Brass adds warmth, and Black gives the most graphic, matte look of the four. Since both knobs are fixed rather than sprung, this comes down entirely to which finish suits the door.

How It Works

This is a fixed, double sided knob set, both faces are non rotating rather than one working side and one fixed. Each knob has a 57mm rose, is machined from solid stainless steel with a PVD coating, and front fixes to the door. Because neither side rotates, there's no latch or lock mechanism involved at all.

Where It Works Best

Use this where a door doesn't need to unlatch, a fixed partition, a cupboard, or a door that's otherwise secured another way, rather than a bedroom or bathroom that needs to open and close on demand. Buster + Punch was founded in 2013 by Massimo Buster Minale, who spent his evenings customising motorbikes in a Shoreditch garage before turning that same attention to detail towards door hardware.
