A door only feels as good as the hinge it swings on. This one is solid metal, stamped with the B+P insignia, and built to the same ball bearing standard used on doors that get opened hundreds of times a day.

Choose Your Finish

Steel is solid stainless steel throughout, Brass adds a PVD coated warmth, and Black is stainless steel finished with an electrocoated surface. All three are built to the same specification underneath.

How It Works

Each hinge measures 102 x 76 x 3mm with countersunk screw holes, sold as a set of two with the woodscrews included. It is a Grade 13 ball bearing hinge, CE tested to BS EN 1935 and fire tested for use on both 30 and 60 minute rated timber doors.

Where It Works Best

Built for indoor use on residential and contract doors, wherever a standard sized hinge is called for and a bit more weight and finish matters. Not suitable for damp or wet environments.

Made By Buster + Punch

Buster + Punch was started in 2013 by Massimo Buster Minale, who had spent his career as an architect before that, at practices including Richard Rogers, while building custom motorbikes in his own time in East London. Door hardware became one of the brand's first product expansions, and a hinge, however unglamorous, was engineered to the same fire rated, ball bearing standard as the doors it was designed to hang.
