The Caged Ceiling Light 4.0 arranges four bulbs in a square matt black cage, built to be the centrepiece of a room rather than sit quietly overhead.

Black Marble keeps the top plate dark and lets the cage and bulbs stand out, while White Marble offers more contrast against darker interiors. As natural stone, each panel has its own veining and colouring, so no two are identical.

How It Works

Four E27 bulbs sit inside the cage on a matt black knurled lamp holder plate, finished with Buster + Punch's signature coin screws, bulbs sold separately. It surface mounts directly to the ceiling, and an optional extension kit lowers the whole fixture by up to a metre for rooms with higher ceilings.

Where It Works Best

The 4.0 is built for hallways, above dining tables, or as the centrepiece of an open plan room, where its square arrangement of four bulbs reads as a proper statement rather than background lighting. Like the rest of the standard Caged ceiling range, it's for dry indoor spaces only, not bathrooms or exterior covered areas.
