This is the 4 gang dimmer from Buster + Punch's Linear Knurl collection, a clean white plate holding four independent rotary dimmers, each finished with the brand's new fine ridged knurl pattern on the knob.

The plate stays white. What changes is the knob. White keeps the whole switch a single, quiet colour that all but disappears into the wall. Brass brings warmth and a bit of shine against the white. Steel gives you a cooler, more industrial contrast. All three share the same straight, fine ridged Linear Knurl detail, just in a different metal.

How It Works

Four independent rotary dimmer modules sit behind the one plate, each with electronic soft start and wired for two way switching. Every dimmer handles LED bulbs from 5W to 120W or incandescent and halogen from 60W to 400W, running on a standard 230 to 240V, 50Hz supply. Turn each knob to bring its circuit up or down, or in and out entirely.

Buster + Punch was started in 2013 by Massimo Buster Minale, an architect who had worked at practices including Foster and Partners before he left to build custom motorbikes by hand out of a garage in Shoreditch. That habit stuck. Every knob, toggle and plate is still machined from solid metal rather than moulded in plastic or stamped from sheet steel, which is why these switches feel the way they do in your hand.
