Three Circuits, One Black Plate
This 3G toggle switch brings three independent two-way toggles together behind a single black back plate, finished with Buster + Punch's diamond-cut cross knurl on each toggle. Instead of three separate switches dotted across a wall, one plate does the job, and each toggle still controls its own circuit on its own.
Choose Your Finish
The black plate is fixed here. Keep all three toggles in Black for a single dark block, or lift them with Brass or Steel collars for a bit of metal detail against the darker background. Whichever you pick, the same choice applies across all three toggles on the plate.
How It Works
Each of the three toggle modules is wired as 2-way and rated at 10A, and each one switches its own circuit independently of the other two, so one plate can control three separate lights, or a light plus two other circuits, from a single position. As with all hardwired Buster + Punch electrics, installation should always be carried out by a qualified electrician.
Where It Works Best
A kitchen is the obvious fit, one toggle for the main ceiling lights, one for under cabinet lighting, one for an extractor or a run of spots over an island. It works equally well in an open plan living and dining space where several separate lighting circuits meet at one wall.

A toggle switch like this exists as a 3 gang unit because Buster + Punch builds systems from separate parts rather than single fixed units, three separately machined toggle modules assembled onto one plate, in this case. Massimo Buster Minale brought that approach from his motorbike building days, hand machining his own parts in a Shoreditch garage, before founding the company in 2013 after time spent as an architect at practices including Foster + Partners.

Do all three toggles have to control the same circuit?
No. Each of the three toggle modules is wired independently, so this plate can control three completely separate circuits from one position.
Do I need an electrician to install this?
Yes. This is a hardwired fitting connected to your mains lighting circuits, and it should always be installed by a qualified electrician.
Can I fit fewer than three circuits and leave a toggle unused?
The plate is designed for three active toggle modules. If you only need one or two circuits at this position, the 1G or 2G versions in this collection are a better fit than leaving positions unwired.
