Three Circuits in Steel, Finished With Cross Knurl
This 3G dimmer switch has a steel back plate carrying three diamond-cut cross knurl dimmer knobs, built for a wall position that needs to run three separate lighting circuits with a cool, industrial edged finish.

How It Works
Three rotary dimmer modules sit behind the plate, each wired independently to a standard 230 to 240V, 50Hz supply. Each one dims LED bulbs from 5W up to 120W, or incandescent and halogen bulbs from 60W up to 400W, and controls its own circuit without affecting the other two. As with all hardwired Buster + Punch electrics, installation should always be carried out by a qualified electrician.
Where It Works Best
Steel suits kitchens, studies and any room with existing metal, concrete or glass surfaces. The 3G format is built for a wall position with three circuits together, for example a kitchen with task lighting, ceiling lighting and under cabinet lighting each dimmed separately from one plate.

Steel and three separately serviceable dimmer modules suit each other, since neither is meant to be sealed shut and forgotten, which fits how Buster + Punch was put together in the first place. Massimo Buster Minale founded the company in 2013, after training as an architect and spending his evenings machining motorbike parts by hand in Shoreditch instead of buying them ready made.

Is a 3G plate much wider than the 1G version?
Yes. The 3G plate measures approximately 144 x 88mm to accommodate three dimmer modules side by side, compared with 88 x 88mm for the single gang version, so check the back box and wall space before ordering.
What bulbs can I dim with this switch?

Do I need an electrician to fit this?
Yes. This is a hardwired fitting connected to your mains lighting circuit, and it should always be installed by a qualified electrician.
