A Three Gang Dimmer in Smoked Bronze
This 3G dimmer switch pairs a smoked bronze back plate with three diamond-cut cross knurl dimmer knobs, gathering three circuits into one dark, quiet control point rather than a row of separate switches.

The back plate stays smoked bronze here. All three knobs and collars can match in smoked bronze for a single dark plate, or be set in brass or steel so each control catches the eye against the dark background.
How It Works
Three rotary dimmer modules sit behind the plate, each wired independently to a standard 230 to 240V, 50Hz supply. Each one dims LED bulbs from 5W up to 120W, or incandescent and halogen bulbs from 60W up to 400W, and controls its own circuit without affecting the other two. As with all hardwired Buster + Punch electrics, installation should always be carried out by a qualified electrician.
Where It Works Best
The dark bronze tone suits rooms with deeper wall colours or dark timber, where a bright metal plate would draw too much attention. The 3G format is for a wall position with three separate circuits, for example an open living space with ceiling, wall and feature lighting each dimmed independently from one plate.

Buster + Punch itself got built the way this plate works: founder Massimo Buster Minale spent years hand building motorbikes in a Shoreditch garage, machining his own parts, before turning that habit into a company in 2013. He'd trained and worked as an architect beforehand, at practices including Foster + Partners.

Questions People Ask
Do all three circuits need to be in the same room?
No. Each of the three modules is wired independently, so the circuits can serve different areas as long as the wiring is run back to the same switch position. An electrician can confirm this against your existing circuits.
What bulbs can I dim with this switch?

Do I need an electrician to fit this?
Yes. This is a hardwired fitting connected to your mains lighting circuit, and it should always be installed by a qualified electrician.
