This 2G plate is machined from solid stainless steel and sized for two modules across a double gang footprint. It can be fitted with any combination of dimmer and toggle modules, two dimmers, two toggles, or one of each, to suit whatever the two circuits at that position need.

How It Works

Each of the two positions on this plate takes its own dimmer or toggle module, wired to its own circuit and switching independently of the other. Detail kits for both positions complete the assembly. Fitting modules into a working circuit is electrical work, so it should always be carried out by a qualified electrician.

This plate suits any double gang position controlling two separate circuits, a living room with a dimmed pendant and a toggled set of downlights, for instance, where mixing module types on one plate is more practical than fitting two single gang plates side by side.

This plate can carry two completely different module types, a dimmer and a toggle side by side, because Buster + Punch builds in separate parts that combine rather than one fixed mould. Founder Massimo Buster Minale set the company up in 2013 after training as an architect at firms including Foster + Partners and Richard Rogers, and spending his evenings machining motorbike parts by hand in a Shoreditch garage.
