Choose Your Knurl Finish

The steel plate stays the same either way, it's the knob that changes the look. Steel knobs keep everything tonal and cool, a single unbroken finish. Brass knobs bring warmth and contrast against the steel plate. Both knobs on the plate come in whichever finish you pick.

How It Works

Each of the two rotary knobs runs its own dimmer circuit independently, with electronic soft start and two way switching for full on, off and dimming control. Between them they'll dim LED bulbs from 5W to 120W or incandescent and halogen bulbs from 60W to 400W, on a 230 to 240V, 50Hz supply.

Where It Works Best

Works well anywhere with two circuits to manage from one plate, a kitchen diner with downlights and a pendant, or a home office with desk and ambient lighting on separate circuits. If you only need to dim one circuit, or need more than two, the Linear Knurl finish runs across the rest of the Buster + Punch switch range.

Made By Buster + Punch

Buster + Punch was founded in 2013 by Massimo Buster Minale, who left a career in architecture, working at firms including Foster and Partners, to build custom motorbikes by hand in a Shoreditch garage. That habit of machining every part properly, rather than stamping or moulding it, carried through into switches like this one. Linear Knurl, the fine straight ridge pattern on this knob, is the newer alternative to the brand's original diamond cut Cross Knurl.

What's the difference between the steel and brass knob options?
The plate stays steel either way. Steel knobs match it for a single, cool toned finish, brass knobs add warmth and stand out slightly against the plate.

Can I dim any bulb I put in these fittings?
Only bulbs marked as dimmable will perform properly. Non dimmable LEDs are a common cause of flickering, explained in our complete guide to why lights flicker.

Are the two circuits controlled together or separately?
Separately. Each knob is its own independent dimmer circuit, so you can adjust one without changing the other.
