Two Dimmers, Both Cast in Brass
This 2G dimmer switch is finished in brass throughout, plate, knobs and knurl, so two independent circuits are controlled from what reads as a single solid brass fitting on the wall.
Choose Your Finish
This listing is brass throughout, on both dimmer positions. There is no alternate knob colour to choose here. The Black, Smoked Bronze, Steel and White 2G versions in this range each offer a brass knurl as one of their own options, if you want the accent without the full brass plate.
How It Works
Two rotary dimmer modules sit behind the plate, each wired independently to a standard 230 to 240V, 50Hz supply. Each one dims LED bulbs from 5W up to 120W, or incandescent and halogen bulbs from 60W up to 400W, and controls its own circuit without affecting the other. As with all hardwired Buster + Punch electrics, installation should always be carried out by a qualified electrician.
Where It Works Best
Brass tends to suit warmer, more traditional interiors, alongside timber, dark paint or existing brass ironmongery. The 2G format is for a wall position that needs two circuits, such as pendant and wall lighting in a dining room, or ceiling and display lighting in a living room, rather than two separate 1G plates fitted side by side.

Will both dimmers age to the same colour over time?
They should age at a similar rate since both are solid brass, though handling on one knob more than the other can create slightly different patina between the two over years of use. That variation is normal for a natural metal finish.
What bulbs can I dim with this switch?

Do I need an electrician to fit this?
