Two Circuits, One Black Plate
This 2G dimmer switch brings two independent rotary dimmers together behind a single black plate, each finished with Buster + Punch's diamond-cut cross knurl. It replaces two separate switches with one wider, coordinated control point.

The plate stays black across this listing. The two knobs and collars can both be black to keep the whole plate reading as one dark block, or set in brass or steel where you want the controls themselves to stand out against the dark plate.
How It Works
Two rotary dimmer modules sit behind the plate, each wired independently to a standard 230 to 240V, 50Hz supply. Each one dims LED bulbs from 5W up to 120W, or incandescent and halogen bulbs from 60W up to 400W, and controls its own circuit without affecting the other. As with all hardwired Buster + Punch electrics, installation should always be carried out by a qualified electrician.
Where It Works Best
A black 2G dimmer suits a wall position that needs to run two circuits at once, such as ceiling lighting alongside wall lights in a living room, or a kitchen island pendant alongside general ceiling lighting. That is the real advantage of the 2G format over the 1G: two full dimmer controls from one wall plate, instead of two separate plates side by side.

Massimo Buster Minale set up Buster + Punch in 2013 after years working as an architect at firms including Foster + Partners, and before that, spending his evenings hand building motorbikes in a Shoreditch garage rather than buying parts in. Yes. Each of the two modules controls its own circuit, so you can dim or switch off one side without affecting the other.
What bulbs can I dim with this switch?
