Not every room needs the higher 120W headroom of Buster + Punch's larger dimmer, and this black single gang switch is built for the more common case: everyday LED bulbs on one circuit, controlled by a single solid metal knob rather than a cheap plastic slider.

How It Works

A single rotary dimmer module sits behind the plate, push on/off and turn to dim, on standard 220 to 240V wiring at 50Hz. It's rated for LED bulbs from 2 to 100W, or incandescent and halogen from 10 to 250W, which covers the great majority of everyday LED lamps without the higher ceiling of the 120W version.

Where It Works Best

This suits a single circuit running standard LED bulbs, a bedroom pendant, a run of downlights, a single wall light. If you're running higher wattage halogen or incandescent fittings, or want more dimming headroom, the 120W rated version of this same 1G switch is the better fit; if you need to control a second circuit from the same wall, look at the 2G version instead.

What's the difference between this and the 120W version?
This 100W version covers LED from 2 to 100W and incandescent or halogen from 10 to 250W, a slightly lower ceiling than the 120W version, which suits the great majority of standard household bulbs.

Can I dim any LED bulb with this?
Only bulbs marked as dimmable. Non dimmable LEDs can flicker, buzz or fail to dim smoothly when fitted to any dimmer switch.

Is this suitable for outdoor or bathroom use?
No, this switch is rated for dry indoor locations only.
