There's no module and nothing to wire behind this plate, just a smooth, solid metal cover, but it's cut and finished to the same standard as a working switch plate. That consistency goes back to how Buster + Punch started: Massimo Buster Minale, an architect who had worked at practices including Foster + Partners and Richard Rogers, spent his evenings machining his own motorbike parts by hand in a Shoreditch garage instead of buying them in, then founded the company in 2013 on the same principle. Even the simplest product in the range gets no less attention than the rest.

No. This is a blank cover with no module behind it, so there is nothing to switch. If you need working switches or sockets, choose one of the plates cut for dimmer, toggle or module inserts instead.

Can I use this to cover an old socket point?
Yes, provided the back box and gang size match. It is designed to sit flush over a standard single gang position and give it a finished, coordinated face.

Do I need an electrician to fit this?
