A Single Dimmer That Sits Flush Against a White Wall
This 1G dimmer switch has a white back plate, so it settles into a painted wall rather than standing out, while the diamond-cut cross knurl on the knob still gives it a proper metal detail to the touch.

The plate stays white here. The knob and collar can match in white for a switch that almost disappears against the wall, or step up in brass or steel where you want the control itself to read as a small feature.
How It Works
A single rotary dimmer module sits behind the plate, wired to a standard 230 to 240V, 50Hz supply. It dims LED bulbs from 5W up to 120W, or incandescent and halogen bulbs from 60W up to 400W, and controls one lighting circuit on its own. As with all hardwired Buster + Punch electrics, installation should always be carried out by a qualified electrician.
Where It Works Best
White suits rooms with painted or plastered walls where the goal is a clean, unobtrusive switch plate: bedrooms, children's rooms, bathroom adjacent hallways, or any newly decorated space. A single gang handles one circuit. Where the same wall needs to control two or three circuits, the 2G and 3G white versions in this range bring extra modules together on one plate.
Made By Buster + Punch
Painting a machined steel plate white takes more work than moulding a plastic faceplate in the same colour, but it means the switch in your hand is exactly as solid as the brass or black versions in this range. Buster + Punch was founded in 2013 by Massimo Buster Minale, an architect who left practices including Foster + Partners to spend his evenings building motorbikes by hand in a Shoreditch garage, machining every part himself instead of buying them ready made. White was never meant to mean lightweight here.

It is a painted white metal plate rather than white plastic, so tone can vary slightly from standard plastic accessories. We would recommend checking a sample against your existing fittings if an exact match matters.
What bulbs can I dim with this switch?
