The back plate stays smoked bronze here. The knob and collar can be ordered to match in smoked bronze, or swapped for a brass or steel accent, so you can either keep the whole switch tonally dark or lift it with a contrasting metal.

How It Works

A single rotary dimmer module sits behind the plate, wired to a standard 230 to 240V, 50Hz supply. It dims LED bulbs from 5W up to 120W, or incandescent and halogen bulbs from 60W up to 400W, and controls one lighting circuit on its own. As with all hardwired Buster + Punch electrics, installation should always be carried out by a qualified electrician.

Where It Works Best

The dark tone works well against painted walls in deeper colours, or anywhere a bright metal switch would stand out too much against dark joinery, panelling or a moody colour scheme. Questions People Ask

Is smoked bronze the same as black?
No. Smoked bronze is a dark warm toned metal finish, closer to a deep bronze than a true flat black. It will read close to black in low light and warmer under direct light.

What bulbs can I dim with this switch?
