This 1G dimmer switch is finished in brass from the plate right through to the knob, so the diamond-cut cross knurl catches the light in the same warm tone as the back plate. It reads as one solid piece of metal on the wall rather than a plastic switch with a metal cap.

How It Works

A single rotary dimmer module sits behind the plate, wired to a standard 230 to 240V, 50Hz supply. It dims LED bulbs from 5W up to 120W, or incandescent and halogen bulbs from 60W up to 400W, and controls one lighting circuit on its own. The company was set up in 2013 by Massimo Buster Minale, previously an architect at practices including Foster + Partners, who spent his evenings hand building motorbikes in a Shoreditch garage and machining the parts himself instead of sourcing them off the shelf. Yes, and that is expected. Brass is a natural finish, so it will pick up a patina with handling and age. Wiping with a dry cloth rather than a chemical cleaner keeps that ageing even.

What bulbs can I dim with this switch?
