A Wave of Light Drawn From the Mediterranean
The Mediterrània S/105 takes its shape from a single soft wave, a ribbon of iron and polycarbonate that curls and dips rather than sitting as a flat disc. Bover designed it as a tribute to Mediterranean light, which shifts between bright flashes and warm glows through the day, and the pendant carries that same changeable quality into a room.
Two Tones of White
The Mediterrània S/105 comes in a plain White finish, a bright, even tone that keeps the ribbon shape the sole focus of the room. The White and Cream option layers a warmer cream tone into the ribbon's curves, softening the profile and giving the wave form more depth as the light catches each fold.
How It Works
An integrated LED sits behind the ribbon, rated at 17.1W and 2064 lumens with a warm 2700K colour temperature and a CRI of 90 for accurate colour rendering. It works with a Triac dimmer, and the drop is adjustable from 260mm to 2165mm on a 140mm ceiling plate, so it can be set for the room it's hanging in. Moonlight Design recommends that all lighting is installed by a registered NICEIC electrician.
Where It Works Best
Its soft, wide spread of light suits living rooms, dining rooms and kitchens where you want gentle ambient light rather than a hard downlight, and its low profile means it also works well in a bedroom or over a stairwell. Hung in a hallway, its wave shaped silhouette gives an otherwise plain space a bit of sculpture to look up at.

Bover was founded in Barcelona in 1996, when Joana Bover sketched an idea for an architect friend's project and turned it into the start of a lighting brand. The company still designs and produces its lighting in Spain, working from its base in Cardedeu near Barcelona. Outdoors, Bover is known for pieces hand woven from synthetic fibre, and indoors for intricate wood lattice fixtures such as the Dome family, built from more than 170 individually woven strips of beech. Across the range there's a distinctly Mediterranean design sensibility, and in 2012 the brand opened a subsidiary in Atlanta to serve the US market.
