A Sculptural Wood Lattice That Glows From Within
The Dome 90 is built from more than 170 individually woven strips of beech, forming a lattice shade that lets light escape through hundreds of small gaps rather than from one bright source. It sits at home above a dining table or in a generous hallway, reading more like a piece of sculpture than a conventional pendant.
A Smaller Scale of the Dome Family
The Dome 90 carries the same hand woven construction as the larger Dome 180, built down to a size that suits standard ceiling heights. At 915mm in diameter it still makes a strong statement, without needing the volume of space the larger Dome demands.
How It Works
Light is never emitted directly from the fitting. Instead, an integrated LED (25W, 2970 lumens, 2700K warm white, 82 CRI) sits behind the lattice and passes through the gaps in the weave, scattering soft shadow and glow across the walls and ceiling around it. It works with a Triac dimmer, and the drop is adjustable from 1200mm to 4000mm on a 155mm ceiling plate, so it can be set for the room it's hanging in. Moonlight Design recommends that all lighting is installed by a registered NICEIC electrician.

Its scale and warm, diffused glow suit dining rooms, living spaces and generous hallways or stairwells, anywhere a pendant needs to work as a focal point rather than sit quietly overhead.
