Utopia Walton Single Light Ceiling Pendant - Antique Brass & Clear Glass

The Walton is a single light ceiling pendant that keeps things simple: a slim metal frame finished in antique brass, holding a clear glass shade that lets the bulb inside do the talking. It has an understated, slightly industrial character that works equally well on its own above a table or repeated in a row along a kitchen island.

This version pairs a warm antique brass frame with a clear glass shade, so the fitting reads as more of a quiet metal and glass silhouette than a statement piece. Expect the kind of gentle handling variation that comes with a metal finish like antique brass, no two fittings will look machine identical, which is part of its charm. The clear glass keeps the light open and unfiltered rather than diffused.

How this ceiling pendant light works

It takes a single 10W LED E27 bulb, which is not included, so you will need to add your own. The fitting is dimmable, but only if you fit dimmable bulbs and pair them with a compatible dimmer switch, a standard bulb will not dim on its own. It is wired to Class I electrical standards, meaning it requires an earth connection, so we would always recommend having it installed by a registered NICEIC electrician rather than tackling the wiring yourself. The cable is adjustable, with a drop that can be set anywhere between roughly 47cm and 157.5cm, so you can hang it high over a hallway or lower over a dining table depending on the space.

Where it works best

With a shade diameter of around 21cm, the Walton suits living rooms, kitchens, bedrooms, dining rooms and hallways alike. It carries an IP20 rating, which means it is intended for dry indoor rooms rather than bathrooms or anywhere it might be exposed to steam or splashing.
