This version is finished in bright nickel, a cool, reflective metal tone that catches the light rather than dulling it, combined with a clear glass shade that lets the bulb itself become part of the design. The metal and glass construction gives the pendant a bit of weight and presence without feeling heavy handed, and it sits comfortably alongside both traditional and more contemporary furniture.

How it works

The pendant takes a single 10W LED bulb with an E27 fitting, and the bulb itself is not supplied, so you can choose the warmth and brightness that suits the room. It is dimmable, provided you fit dimmable bulbs and pair it with a compatible dimmer switch. The drop is adjustable from around 57cm up to 167.5cm, so it can be set to suit a range of ceiling heights, and the shade itself measures roughly 25cm across and 35cm in height. As this is a mains wired fitting rated Class I, it should be installed by a registered NICEIC electrician to make sure it is earthed and connected safely.

Where it works best

With an IP20 rating, the Walton is designed for dry indoor spaces rather than bathrooms or anywhere exposed to damp. It suits living rooms, kitchens, bedrooms, dining rooms and hallways particularly well, wherever you want a single, well placed pendant rather than a full ceiling light.
