Utopia Swirl Wall Light - Copper Patina And Clear Glass

The Utopia Swirl Wall Light brings a soft, sculptural glow to a room without shouting for attention. Its looping steel frame curves gently around a glass diffuser, giving it a shape that reads as much like a small piece of wall art as a light fitting. It holds a single lamp, so it works well as an accent or paired either side of a fireplace, mirror or hallway run.

The copper patina and clear glass finish

This version is finished in copper, and because patina finishes are applied and aged by hand, you can expect gentle variation from one fitting to the next rather than a perfectly uniform surface. That warmth pairs naturally with the clear glass shade, which lets light spill outward rather than containing it, so the fitting reads as much for its glow as for its form. The combination of steel and glass gives it a bit of weight and presence without feeling heavy on the wall.

How this wall light works

It takes a single 10W LED E27 bulb, which is not supplied, so you will need to add your own on installation. If you would like to dim the light, choose a dimmable LED bulb and pair it with a compatible dimmer switch, as dimming depends on the bulb rather than being built into the fitting itself. Being mains wired, it should be installed by a registered NICEIC electrician rather than fitted as a plug in piece. The fitting itself measures approximately 25cm high, 14cm wide and projects 13.8cm from the wall, and it comes with a 2 year warranty.

With an IP20 rating, this light is designed for dry indoor rooms rather than bathrooms or anywhere with direct exposure to moisture. It suits living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, kitchens and hallways particularly well, whether used as a single statement piece or in a pair either side of a feature wall.
