Utopia Sabo LED Ring Pendant - Clear Crystal Glass

The Sabo is a pendant light built around a single striking idea: a ring of light that appears to float in mid air. Rather than hiding its LED source inside a shade, the fitting lets a circle of clear crystal glass carry the glow itself, giving the room a soft, sculptural centrepiece rather than just a source of light.

This version pairs a steel frame with K5 crystal glass, chosen for the way it catches and scatters light around its edges. Being a crystal glass piece, expect the usual gentle variation you get with cut glass, no two rings reflect the light in exactly the same way. The clear, faceted look sits comfortably with contemporary interiors but is simple enough to work in more traditional rooms too, especially where you want a hint of sparkle without a full chandelier.

How the Sabo pendant works

Light comes from a 36W integrated LED built into the ring itself, producing a warm 3000K glow at around 2700 lumens, so there are no bulbs to buy or change over time. It can be dimmed, but only when paired with a trailing edge dimmer switch, so do check compatibility if dimming matters to you. The cable allows the drop to be adjusted between 40cm and 160cm, which gives some flexibility for different ceiling heights, and as with any mains wired ceiling fitting we would always recommend having it installed by a registered NICEIC electrician. At 3.3kg it is worth confirming your ceiling fixing point can comfortably take the weight before hanging it.

Where this ceiling pendant works best

Its scale and drop make it a natural fit for spaces where it can be seen from a distance and admired, think living rooms, dining rooms, kitchens, bedrooms and hallways with a bit of height to play with. As an IP20 fitting it is designed for dry, indoor rooms only.
