Utopia Moon 2 Light Floor Lamp - Matt Black

The Utopia Moon 2 Light Floor Lamp is a tall, freestanding piece built around two heads set on adjustable arms. Rather than casting one fixed pool of light, it lets you angle illumination in two directions at once, handy for reading in a chair on one side of a room while the second head lifts the space more generally.

This version comes in a matt black finish, with glass detailing to the shades. The dark, low sheen surface keeps the lamp feeling understated rather than showy, so it sits comfortably against most wall colours and pairs equally well with warm wood tones or cooler greys and whites.

How this floor lamp works

Each of the two heads takes a G9 LED bulb rated at 3W, so two are needed in total. Bulbs are not included, so you will need to add your own before switching it on. The lamp is not dimmable, so it runs at one fixed brightness rather than a range. Some light assembly is needed to bring the arms and base together when it first arrives, and as with any mains powered lighting, we would always recommend having the wiring checked by a registered NICEIC electrician if you are ever unsure.

Where it works best

With a height that adjusts from around 140cm up to 165cm and a depth reaching from roughly 74cm to 89.5cm, there is plenty of scope to position the heads exactly where you want them, whether angled over a sofa, beside a bed, or off to the side of a dining table. It suits living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms and hallways. It carries an IP20 rating, which means it is designed for dry indoor rooms rather than bathrooms or anywhere damp.
