Utopia Matrix Round 2 Light Table Lamp - Satin Brass & Glass

The Matrix Round is a two light table lamp built around a round profile in satin brass with glass detailing. It's a compact piece that sits comfortably on a console, sideboard or bedside table, giving off a soft glow from two separate light sources rather than one central bulb.

Satin brass and glass finish

This variant is finished in a satin brass plate, paired with glass for the light bearing sections. Steel forms the structure underneath, giving the lamp a solid base and stem. Because the brass is hand finished, you may notice slight variation in tone from one lamp to the next, which is normal for this kind of plated finish rather than a fault.

How this table lamp works

The lamp takes two G9 LED bulbs rated at 3W each, and bulbs are not supplied so you'll need to source these separately before it can be used. It is not dimmable, so it runs at a single fixed brightness once switched on. The fitting is Class II rated, meaning it is double insulated and does not require an earth connection. As with any mains wired lighting, if you're at all unsure about connecting or positioning it safely, it's worth having it checked over by a registered NICEIC electrician.

Where it works best

With its smaller table lamp footprint, the Matrix Round suits living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms and hallways, wherever you want a warm, localised pool of light rather than a full room wash. It carries an IP20 rating, which means it's designed for dry indoor rooms only and shouldn't be used anywhere with damp or splashing.
