Utopia Lustre Floor Lamp - Satin Brass Plate & Gloss White Glass

The Utopia Lustre Floor Lamp brings a soft, layered glow into a room through five gloss white glass shades, each one gathered around a central steel column. It has a graceful, almost chandelier like silhouette but sits at floor level, so you get that same sense of scattered light without needing a ceiling point. It's a good option if you want a freestanding lamp that reads as a proper lighting feature in its own right rather than just filling a dark corner.

The frame is finished in satin brass, a warm, slightly muted metal tone that avoids the shinier look of polished brass, so it sits comfortably alongside both traditional and more contemporary furniture. The five shades are gloss white glass, which diffuses the light gently rather than casting it in one direction, and gives the lamp a soft, rounded look when it's switched on. Steel forms the structural body underneath, with glass doing the work of shaping the light itself.

How this floor lamp works

It takes five G9 bulbs, each rated at 3W, and bulbs are not included, so you will need to add your own before it can be used. The fitting is Class II, meaning it does not require an earth connection, and it is not dimmable, so it operates as a straightforward on or off light rather than one you can adjust in brightness. As with any mains wired lamp, we would recommend having it connected or checked over by a registered NICEIC electrician if you are at all unsure about the wiring or the plug fitting, particularly given the number of lamp holders involved.
