Utopia Interlink Wall Light - Antique Gold With Teal Shade

The Interlink wall light brings a sculptural, layered silhouette to any wall, with curved arms that appear to loop through one another in an antique gold finish. A soft teal fabric shade sits within the frame, adding a gentle wash of colour and warmth to the light it throws.

The body is steel, finished by hand in antique gold, so expect gentle variation in tone from one piece to the next, which is part of what gives it a slightly aged, characterful look rather than a flat, uniform one. The fabric shade in teal softens the light and adds a quiet note of colour that works well against warm neutrals, deep greens, or muted blues on the wall behind it.

How it works

This wall light takes a single E27 bulb, a 10W LED being a sensible choice, though the bulb itself is not supplied so you can pick the tone and brightness you prefer. It is dimmable, provided you fit dimmable bulbs and pair it with a compatible dimmer switch. It is wired to Class I electrical standards, meaning it needs to be properly earthed, so we would always recommend having it installed by a registered NICEIC electrician rather than tackling the wiring yourself.

Where it works best

With an IP20 rating, this is a fitting for dry indoor rooms rather than bathrooms or anywhere it might catch damp or splashes. It suits living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, and hallways particularly well, where a pair either side of a fireplace, mirror, or bed can do a lot to soften the overall light in a room and add a bit of visual interest to a plain wall.
