The Interlink pendant brings a cluster of five lights together on a single ceiling plate, each one dropping on its own cable so the arrangement can be staggered rather than lined up in a rigid row. It suits spaces where you want a single fitting to do the work of several, whether that is a run of task lighting over a kitchen island or a softer, layered glow above a dining table.

This finish: antique gold with mink shades

This version pairs a steel frame finished in antique gold with fabric shades in a warm mink tone. The gold has a slightly aged, burnished quality rather than a bright polish, so it reads as warm metal that sits comfortably alongside brass, wood and darker paint colours. The mink fabric shades soften the light and add a textile element that works well against plainer ceilings, and because the frame and shades are handled individually during finishing, expect small, natural variation from one pendant to the next rather than a perfectly uniform result.

How it works: bulbs, fitting and installation

Each of the five arms takes an E27 bulb, with the fitting designed around 10W LED lamps; bulbs themselves are not supplied, so you will need to add five to suit before switching on. The drop is adjustable, from around 65cm up to 204cm, which gives some flexibility for higher ceilings or for setting the pendant closer to a table. The fitting is dimmable, but only if you choose dimmable bulbs and pair them with a compatible dimmer switch; standard LEDs will not dim even on a dimming circuit. As with any mains wired ceiling light, we would always recommend having it installed by a registered NICEIC electrician, both for safety and to make sure the multiple drops are wired and hung evenly.

Where it works best

With five lamps spread across a 70cm diameter, this pendant is built to make a statement in living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms and hallways where there is enough headroom and floor space to let the staggered drops read properly. It also works well as a kitchen island light, where the spread of arms can be angled to spill light along the length of a worktop rather than pooling in one spot.
