Utopia Eton 5 Light Multi Arm Pendant - Bright Nickel & Tapered Shades

The Utopia Eton is a five arm pendant light that spreads its curving steel arms wide from a central point, each one carrying its own tapered shade. Rather than reading as five small lights, it comes together as a single sculptural fitting, the kind of piece that is meant to be noticed when you hang it low over a table or in an open stairwell or landing.

This finish: bright nickel with tapered fabric shades

This version is finished in a bright nickel across the curved steel frame, paired with tapered fabric shades in a neutral tone. The metal gives the arms a clean, reflective quality, while the fabric shades soften the light and add a bit of texture against the steel. It's a combination that tends to sit comfortably in both classic and more contemporary rooms.

How it works

Each of the five arms takes a 6W LED bulb with an E14 fitting, so five bulbs in total, and these are not supplied with the fitting so you'll want to have your preferred bulbs ready before installation. The pendant is dimmable, but only if you fit dimmable LED bulbs and pair them with a compatible dimmer switch. It's wired to Class I electrical standard, meaning it must be properly earthed, so we'd always recommend having it installed by a registered NICEIC electrician rather than tackling the wiring yourself. The drop is adjustable, which makes it easier to get the hang height right for your ceiling and the table or space below.

Where it works best

Its scale and presence suit rooms where you want a genuine centrepiece: over a dining table, in a living room seating area, above a bed in a larger bedroom, or lighting up a hallway that could do with a bit of drama. Because of its finish and construction, this one is intended for dry indoor rooms.
