Utopia Eton 3 Light Multi Arm Pendant - Satin Brass & Tapered Shades

The Eton is a three light pendant that takes the classic idea of a cluster fitting and gives it a slightly looser, more architectural feel. Three slender arms reach out from a central body, each one finished at the end with a tapered shade, so instead of one static pool of light you get three points spread across a wider area. It works well as a single striking fixture over a table or in a stairwell where you want something with a bit of presence rather than a plain flush light.

The satin brass finish

This version pairs a steel frame in a satin brass tone with fabric shades, giving it a warmer, more textured look than a plain metal pendant. The brass reads as a neutral rather than a bold statement colour, so it tends to sit comfortably alongside both warm woods and cooler greys, and it works equally well in a more traditional room or a simpler, contemporary one. As with any hand finished metal fitting, expect a little natural variation in tone from one piece to the next rather than a perfectly uniform surface.

How this pendant light works

Each of the three arms takes a 6W LED bulb with an E14 fitting, and bulbs are not supplied, so you will need to add your own to suit the light output and colour temperature you want. The fitting is dimmable, but only if you choose dimmable LED bulbs and pair them with a compatible dimmer switch. It is built to Class I electrical standards, and the whole piece is height adjustable, ranging from around 45.5cm up to 66cm, with an overall diameter of about 55cm once the arms are extended, so it can be set to suit different ceiling heights or table positions. As this is a mains wired fitting, we always recommend having it installed by a registered NICEIC electrician rather than fitting it yourself.

Where it works best

With an IP20 rating, this pendant is designed for dry indoor rooms rather than bathrooms or anywhere damp. It suits living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms and hallways particularly well, especially spaces where a multi arm design can spread light across a wider area, such as above a dining table, in an entrance hall, or at the turn of a staircase.
