Utopia Cosmos 1 Light Pendant - Brass & Mercury Glass

The Cosmos is a single light pendant built around one distinctive feature: a mercury glass shade with a softly clouded, silvered finish, so expect gentle variation from one shade to the next rather than a perfectly uniform surface. It's designed to hang as a quiet focal point over a table or in a stairwell, rather than blend into the ceiling.

The Brass and Mercury Glass Finish

This version pairs a brass finished frame with a mercury glass shade, made from glass and steel. The glass carries that characteristic mercury look, part mirrored, part misted, which catches the light differently depending on where you're standing. The brass tone gives it a warm, metallic edge that sits comfortably alongside wood furniture, black metal fittings, or other warm toned finishes already in the room.

Pendant Light Wiring and Bulb Details

It takes a 10W LED E27 bulb, which isn't supplied, so you'll need to source one separately, choosing a dimmable bulb if you'd like to use it with a dimmer switch, since dimming only works when dimmable bulbs are fitted. The drop is adjustable from around 44cm up to 154cm, and the shade itself has a diameter of 26cm, giving you room to hang it low over a dining table or higher in a hallway or stairwell. As with any mains wired fitting, we'd recommend having it installed by a registered NICEIC electrician.
