The Cosmos pendant is a single light fitting built around a rounded glass shade that catches and softens light rather than hiding it. A neat ceiling plate and slender cable keep the design uncluttered, so the glass itself does the talking wherever it hangs.

This version pairs a brass finished plate and fittings with a clear bubble glass shade, so the light source is glimpsed rather than fully obscured. The glass has a slightly rounded, bubble like profile that gives it form even when switched off, while the brass tones bring a warm, understated contrast. As with any hand finished metal fitting, expect gentle variation from piece to piece rather than a perfectly uniform surface, and it pairs comfortably with warm wood tones or simple painted schemes.

How this pendant light works

It takes a single 10W LED bulb with an E27 fitting. The bulb itself is not supplied, so you will need to add one before it can be lit. It is dimmable, provided you fit dimmable bulbs and use it with a compatible dimmer switch. The drop is adjustable, running from around 44cm up to 154cm, so it can be set to suit a range of ceiling heights. As with any mains wired light fitting, we would recommend having it installed by a registered NICEIC electrician.

This fitting is rated IP20, meaning it is designed for dry indoor rooms rather than bathrooms or anywhere damp. It suits living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms and hallways, whether used as a single statement pendant over a dining table or repeated along a hallway.
