The Bow is a nine light pendant that gathers its lamps into a single, layered cluster rather than spreading them along a bar or ring, so it reads as one substantial centrepiece rather than a row of individual lights. Steel forms the frame, with crystal and clear glass carrying the light outward, giving it presence whether the bulbs are lit or off.
The bright nickel finish
This version is finished in bright nickel plate, a cool, reflective metal tone that sits well against both warm and cool colour schemes. Paired with the crystal and clear glass detailing, the plating catches ambient light during the day and adds a soft shimmer once the bulbs are switched on in the evening. As with any plated and glass fitting, expect a little natural variation piece to piece, which is part of what gives handled glass and metalwork like this its character.
How the Bow pendant works
It takes nine E14 candle bulbs, each rated up to 6W, and the bulbs themselves are not supplied, so you will need to source your own to suit the wattage and colour temperature you prefer. The fitting is dimmable, provided you fit dimmable bulbs. The drop is adjustable between 49.0cm and 186.5cm, and the fitting has a 61cm diameter with a 150cm cable, so there is room to set the hanging height to suit your ceiling and the table or floor beneath it. It is wired to Class II electrical standards. Given the number of glass and crystal elements, we would recommend having it installed by a registered NICEIC electrician, both for the wiring itself and for handling the glasswork safely during assembly. At around 10.3kg, it is also worth checking that your ceiling fixing point can comfortably support the weight before installation.
Where the Bow pendant works best
Its scale and the way the glass and crystal catch the light make it suited to rooms where it can hang as a focal point, over a dining table, in a living room with reasonable ceiling height, in a hallway, bedroom or kitchen. As an IP20 fitting, it is designed for dry indoor rooms rather than bathrooms or anywhere it might be exposed to damp or splashing.
