TOOY Lilly Wall Light

The Lilly wall light is the most restrained piece in the collection and, in many ways, the most quietly effective. The fabric and micro mesh diffuser — the same beige fabric and black net that define the Lilly range as a whole — is mounted on a compact wall arm, projecting gently from the wall plane and producing a soft, warm light that illuminates the space around it without drawing attention to itself. It is the kind of fitting that you notice through its effect rather than its presence.

As a bedside wall light it is particularly well suited — the softness of the fabric diffuser producing a quality of light that is gentle enough for evening reading, warm enough to make the room feel settled, and discreet enough not to dominate the space it inhabits.
