TOOY Lilly Floor Lamp

A Tall Fabric Floor Lamp, 150cm High

The Tooy Lilly floor lamp is designed by Corrado Dotti and draws on the restraint of Asian design. It is a tall piece: it stands approximately 150cm high with a shade 50cm across. The slim Sand Black stem carries a beige fabric and black net shade up to standing height, so it works as a fabric floor lamp beside a sofa, an armchair or a bed.

The lamp has one finish. A Sand Black powder coated metal frame supports the beige fabric shade, which has a black net over it. The shade softens the light and lets the stem stay thin and quiet, so the lamp fills height without filling the floor.

How it works

The lamp takes one E27 bulb of up to 15W, not supplied. It has a 300cm fabric cable with an on and off switch on the cable, about 80cm from the base. If you would like to dim it, please ask us before ordering. A qualified electrician should always install this fitting.

Where it works best

Place it in a living room corner, next to a reading chair, behind a sofa or by a bedroom window. The 300cm cable gives you flexibility on where you stand it. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry indoor rooms only.

The story behind Tooy

Tooy was founded in 2015 by Valeria Giacomozzi and Valerio Tidei in Italy's Marche region, as a spin off from Gibas. Gibas is the Giacomozzi family lighting company that has made tailor made lighting in Marche since 1959. Corrado Dotti, who trained with Matteo Thun and then Armani Casa before opening his own studio in 2009, has been creative director since 2017. The brand's lamps are made in Italy.
