A Long Horizontal LED Pendant, 175cm Wide
The Tooy Igor Horizontal Pendant Light is designed by Duccio Maria Gambi, inspired by the balance of helicopter forms. It hangs from a single central fixing and stretches out in both directions in a long, low line. It is a genuinely large fitting: approximately 175cm long and 20cm high, hung from a 200cm cable. Think of it as a linear pendant light for a long dining table, a kitchen island or a wide hallway.
Matte Black or Satin Nickel With Ripstop Fabric
The long diffuser is made from Ripstop fabric, which spreads the light evenly along its length. Matte Black makes a strong graphic line against pale ceilings, a bold black pendant light for modern interiors. Satin Nickel is cooler and lighter, and it blends more gently into grey and stone schemes.
How it works
The light source is built in, a 50W integrated LED at 2700K giving around 5500 lumens of warm white light. You do not need to buy bulbs. Dimming is by DALI 2 or Push control. It hangs from a ceiling canopy on a 200cm cable. A qualified electrician should always install this fitting.
Where it works best
The length is made for a long dining table, a large kitchen island or a wide entrance hall, where one line of light does the work of several pendants. It needs space around it, so it is best in rooms with a generous ceiling and clear floor area. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry indoor rooms only.
The story behind Tooy
Founded in 2015 in Italy's Marche region by Valeria Giacomozzi and Valerio Tidei, Tooy began as a spin off from Gibas. Gibas is the Giacomozzi family lighting company, which has made tailor made lighting in Marche since 1959. Corrado Dotti has been creative director since 2017, and the brand's lamps are made in Italy.
