Stone Globe Spherical Garden Light - Sandstone - Plug & Play

A Sandstone Garden Globe Light for Plug and Play Lighting

The Stone Globe Spherical Garden Light in sandstone is a stone effect outdoor light that works as part of a 12V plug and play garden lighting system. It comes in three sizes, 28cm, 38cm and 50cm in diameter, each supplied with an E27 bulb. The 50cm globe is a large fitting, so please check the size against your space before ordering. Use it as a garden globe light beside paths, driveways, borders and patios.

Sandstone Finish

The sandstone version has a soft, warm stone colour and a rough, uneven surface, much like cut natural stone. The globe is moulded from polyethylene, and the manufacturer says the rough surface weathers naturally over time. By day it sits in a border or on a terrace as a stone feature. At night it glows from within. You can choose a standard 0.45m cable or a 5m cable when ordering.

How It Works

This is a low voltage, 12V fitting and it needs a Stone Globe approved transformer, which is bought separately. The supplied E27 bulb is 3W in the 28cm globe, 5W in the 38cm and 7W in the 50cm. A mounting bracket is included, with a 12.5cm circular base, so the globe can be fixed securely, and an optional ground spike is available. The fitting is rated IP65, so it is protected against dust and water jets. Plug and play connectors let you join globes into one run, and the manufacturer suggests extra cable packs of 10m, 25m or 50m, plus the right number of connectors, for larger gardens. The globes can be moved and repositioned. We always recommend a qualified electrician installs this fitting.

Where It Works Best

Use these globes along paths and driveways, in planted borders, on patios and steps, and to set a warm mood for evenings outside. They also look good in daylight as a stone feature, so the garden is not left empty until dark.
