Joe Colombo built Topo around a motoring idea: a shell with slits like the vents on a 1960s sports car, and a shade shaped to wrap around its E27 bulb the way a bonnet closes over an engine. In Stilnovo's signature Iconic Red, that automotive reference comes through loud and clear.
