Stilnovo Topo Clamp Table Lamp - Black

The Stilnovo Topo Clamp Table Lamp in black is a clamp-mounted task light that grips onto the edge of a desk or shelf, leaving the surface beneath it free.

Joe Colombo designed Topo around the idea of a car bonnet closing over an engine, and the black finish makes that reference feel almost industrial. Slits cut into the metal shell recall the vents on a 1960s sports car, and the shade's rounded profile hugs the E27 bulb it houses. In matte black, the lamp reads as understated and architectural rather than showy.

The jointed arm is the real point of the design: it extends, folds and rotates so the head can be positioned exactly where you need it, whether that is low and close for reading or raised and angled for general light around a study or home office.
