The Minibox Wall Light in Iconic Red is the wall mounted counterpart to Stilnovo's celebrated Minibox design by Gae Aulenti and Piero Castiglioni, its metal head held on magnetically so it can be removed and reaimed whenever you need.

Red is arguably the signature colourway for this design, the shade most associated with Stilnovo's original and the one that shows off the miner's lamp inspired silhouette at its boldest.

How it works

It runs on phase cut dimming, so it needs to be connected to a compatible dimmer switch rather than a standard circuit.

Where it works best

Positioned beside a bed or a favourite armchair it makes a properly adjustable reading light, and it earns its place just as easily in a hallway, office or dining room.

The story behind Stilnovo

Stilnovo was founded in Milan in 1946 by Bruno Gatta, and mounted on a wall, that small glowing eye and compact metal body become a genuine focal point rather than just a source of light.
