Fixed flat to a wall rather than standing in the ground, the Rusty Up/Down turns the same weathered steel finish into a piece for the facade itself, throwing light both upward and downward from a single compact round body so the wall on either side of it gets equal attention.

Round Against Square

SLV builds this fixture in two body shapes: this rounded profile, and a square bodied version elsewhere in the range. The round body reads softer against brick, render or natural stone, where the square version leans more toward a crisp, modern facade. Both share the same up and down beam and rust finish; the choice comes down to which silhouette suits the wall it is going on.

How It Works

The body combines FeCSi steel with aluminium in a rust and anthracite finish, fixed directly to the wall by surface mounting. An integrated 14W LED throws light both up and down at once, with a CCT switch inside letting you fix the colour temperature at either 3000K or 4000K before it goes live, across a 65 degree beam angle and a combined output of around 525 lumens at CRI80. It carries an IP65 rating, so it is rated for greater direct weather exposure than the ground standing bollards in the range.

Is this suitable for a wall that gets the full brunt of the weather? Yes, it carries an IP65 rating, which gives it more protection against direct weather exposure than the ground standing bollards in the Rusty range.

Can I choose whether it looks warmer or cooler? There is a CCT switch inside that lets you fix the colour temperature at either 3000K or 4000K before the fixture goes live, so you set it once during installation.

Does it only light the wall, or the ground too? It throws light both upward and downward from the same compact body, so the wall above and below the fixture both get lit rather than just one direction.
