Take the Abridor's angular, wide throwing head and add a motion sensor, and you get a fixture that stays dark until it's needed, then floods a much wider area than its compact size suggests the moment someone approaches.

Choosing Your Finish

This sensor equipped version is finished in anthracite to match the standard Abridor body. If you don't need the automatic sensing and would rather the light stayed on a manual switch or timer instead, SLV makes the same head and finish without the sensor built in.

How It Works

A built in PIR sensor with a twilight check picks up movement across roughly a 120 degree field at ranges up to around 9 metres, triggering a 12W integrated LED that puts out approximately 950 to 980 lumens, switchable between 3000K and 4000K. The angled head still tilts through 90 degrees for direction, and SLV notes the design gives a wide, roughly 100 degree beam spread once triggered. It connects directly to a 230 to 240V mains supply.

Where It Works Best

Fit it above a side door, over a garage or along a driveway where you want a genuinely wide pool of light to appear the instant someone walks up, rather than a narrow beam that only catches part of the approach.
