The Swoop 5 Light Pendant is built to fill a tall space with light and movement. Fine strands of clear crystal beads run the full length of a satin brass frame, tapering to a soft point at the base. Hung above a staircase or a double height hallway, it catches every bit of passing light and throws it straight back around the room.

The frame and ceiling rose are finished in a warm satin brass, a soft, brushed tone rather than a high polish. Dozens of fine chains of faceted clear crystal beads hang from the rose in a tight column, giving the pendant real depth and sparkle without ever looking heavy.

How It Works

• Takes 5 x GU10 bulbs, not supplied
• We would suggest around 5W LED (50W halogen equivalent) GU10 bulbs for a similar level of brightness
• Dimmable when used with dimmable LED bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch
• Fixes flush to the ceiling with a round satin brass ceiling plate, no additional flex or chain
• Fixed drop of 180cm and a diameter of 35cm
• Wired to Class I, so the fitting needs an earth connection

Where It Works Best

The 180cm drop is designed for rooms with real height, a stairwell, a galleried landing or a hallway with a high ceiling are the natural home for this pendant. It also works well as a striking centre piece in a large dining room or living room where the ceiling allows for its full length.

What bulbs does the Swoop 5 Light Pendant use?
It takes 5 GU10 bulbs, which are not supplied. An LED GU10 of around 5W gives a similar brightness to the old 50W halogen version.

Can I shorten the drop for a lower ceiling?
No, the drop is fixed at 180cm, so this pendant is best suited to rooms with high ceilings such as stairwells and hallways.

Is the Swoop pendant dimmable?
Yes, as long as you fit dimmable LED bulbs and pair them with a compatible dimmer switch.
