The Studio Adjustable takes its shape from a classic stage or newsreel light: a round chrome drum on a black tripod, complete with a carry handle across the top. It brings a bit of theatre to a living room or study without tipping into costume, working equally well as a genuine reading light or as a sculptural piece in the corner of a room.

The tripod legs are black painted wood, splayed for stability and adjustable for height, while the drum shade itself is finished in bright chrome with a ribbed lens across the front. A side handle lets you tilt the shade up or down once it is in position.

How It Works

• Takes one E27 bulb, not supplied. We would suggest around 6W LED (60W incandescent equivalent) for a similar look to the original spotlight bulb
• The tripod legs extend and lock to adjust the overall height
• The drum shade tilts on its bracket to aim the light up, down or level

• What bulb does it take? A single E27 bulb, not included. An LED of around 6W gives a similar brightness to the 60W incandescent bulb the fitting was originally designed around.
• Can I dim it? No, this fixture is not dimmable.
• Can I adjust the height? Yes. The tripod legs extend and lock at different lengths, and the drum shade tilts independently on its bracket.
