A Dome Shade With Two Ways To Hang
The Scotland pendant brings a soft, retro edged shape to a room with a shade that works as a traditional hanging pendant or drops down close to the ceiling as a semi flush fitting. The matt black dome sits on a slim black flex, so it reads as a single confident silhouette rather than a fussy fitting.
Matt Black Metal With A Pale Interior
Scotland is made from metal, finished in matt black on the outside with a paler tone on the inside of the shade that helps bounce light back down into the room. The dome measures 35cm across, wide enough to spread light evenly over a kitchen island, dining table or reading corner without dominating the space.
How It Works
- Takes 1 x E27 bulb, not included. We would suggest around 6W LED (60W incandescent equivalent) for a similar level of brightness.
- Dimmable when used with compatible LED bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch.
- Drop is adjustable up to a maximum of 150cm, and the shade can also be fitted close to the ceiling as a semi flush light.
- Wired for Class II electrical use, so no separate earth connection is required.
- Fixings for ceiling mounting are included.
Where It Works Best
Scotland suits kitchens, dining rooms, living rooms, bedrooms and hallways. Hang one over a dining table for a single statement point of light, or use two or three in a row along a kitchen island. Because the drop is adjustable and it can sit flush to the ceiling, it also works in rooms with lower ceilings where a long pendant would not fit comfortably.
