A Cascade of Light

The Rocky 8 light pendant gathers eight faceted glass shades at staggered heights, so the fitting reads more like a suspended sculpture than a single ceiling light. Each shade fades from a soft frosted white crown into clear, cut glass facets below, catching the light differently depending on where it sits in the drop. It works well as a statement piece over a stairwell, double height space or wherever you want one fitting to do the job of several.

Satin Brass and Faceted Glass

Every shade combines frosted white glass with clear faceted glass beneath, while the frame and ceiling plate are finished in satin brass. The warm metal tone pairs naturally with warm wood tones, brass hardware and softer, more traditional colour schemes, but works just as well in a contemporary space against plain walls.

How It Works

• Takes 8 x G9 bulbs (not supplied); we would recommend around 3W LED (33W halogen equivalent) capsule bulbs for each shade
• Dimmable, provided you fit dimmable bulbs and pair with a compatible dimmer switch
• Each of the 8 shades hangs on its own cable at an individually adjustable drop, creating the staggered, cascading arrangement shown in the photos
• Fixes to a single round satin brass ceiling plate, 46cm in diameter
• Maximum total drop of 300cm, so it can be trimmed to suit anything from a standard ceiling to a full stairwell void
• Wired to UK mains voltage, Class I (earthed)

Where It Works Best

Because of its long possible drop, the Rocky 8 light pendant is particularly suited to stairwells, galleried landings and double height entrance halls, but its 46cm spread also makes it a good fit for dining tables, kitchen islands and living rooms with higher ceilings. It suits bedrooms and hallways too, wherever a single dramatic fitting is more welcome than several smaller lights.

Can I adjust the height of each shade separately?
Yes. Each of the 8 drops can be adjusted individually up to a maximum total drop of 300cm, so you can fine tune the staggered effect to suit your ceiling height.
